About the Ardmore Beautification Council, Inc.

The Ardmore Beautification Council, Inc., began as a committee of the Chamber of Commerce in March 1989. They became a 501(c)(3), private, non-profit, operating foundation in September 1995. They work through a board of trustees, active committee members, and a host of community volunteers. Join their volunteer effort to beautify and improve our community.

Goals & Objectives

Organization

Develop a strong council and with our community partners make Ardmore the most vital city through:

  • Beautification and community improvement
  • Litter prevention
  • Impacting the minimization of solid waste management on the community

Projects

Develop programs and expand new ideas that will serve Ardmore.

Education

Develop a comprehensive beautification and environmental program to implement throughout our local school systems, starting
with kindergarten and continuing through public education into adulthood.

Resources

Develop and acquire information individuals and groups can use pertaining to the environment and community beautification and 
improvement.

Publicity

Promote ABC programs and projects through timely publicity, giving credit to the individuals and groups involved
