This beautiful park, used by thousands every year, is maintained by the Ardmore Parks and Recreation Dept., Community Activities Inc. of Ardmore and the Ardmore Beautification Council, Inc. through a partnership. Central Park has been Ardmore's gathering place since the city was formed and was conveyd to the city of Ardmore in 1910. The pergola was built in 1928 and an extensive park renovation was done in 1986-87, as a part of Ardmore's Centennial celebration.
