Known for its brilliant fall color. ![]() Water oak Large-sized tree about 70 feet high with a spread of 80 feet wide and a rounded crown. ![]() Bald Cypress Medium to large-sized tree, between 60-90 feet high; deciduous, cone-bearing tree. Enlarged and buttressed at base, often angled and with cone-shaped "knees" from submerged roots. ![]() Red bud Small to medium sized tree, about 35 feet high with a short trunk 10 inches in diameter and rounded crown of spreading branches and shiny green leaves. Showy blooms in early spring before leaves appear. ![]() Sugar maple Large tree, about 80 feet high and 2 feet in diameter, with spreading dense crown. ![]() Shumard oak Medium-sized to large tree 80 feet high with straight trunk and broad round crown; width can be 50 feet in diameter.. ![]() Dogwood Small sized to tree, about 25 feet high with irregular crown of spreading or nearly horizontal branches. ![]() Japanese maple Maximum height of 20 feet with spead of 20 feet.
